License Types

Depending on license type purchased, purchasers are granted the rights to use the lyrics non-exclusively, non-transferable and world-wide for an unlimited period. All lyrics are the copyright of Dale Kidd.

A:  Non-commercial-use License

 

You have the following rights solely for private, non-commercial purposes:
*  right of recital, performance and presentation
*  right to make available to the public
*  right to reproduce through a picture or sound recording medium
*  right of reproduction
The right of adaptation and the right of promotion is not granted.

License fee: $500 (sales tax excluded)

B:  Commercial-limited-right-of-reproduction License

 

You have the following rights:
*  right of recital, performance and presentation
*  right to make available to the public
*  right to reproduce through a picture or sound recording medium
*  right of reproduction up to 1,000 copies (any combination of downloads and/or copies)
*  right of promotion
The right of adaptation is not granted.

License fee: Available upon request

C:  Commercial-unlimited-right-of-reproduction License

 

You have the following rights:
*  right of recital, performance and presentation
*  right to make available to the public
*  right to reproduce through a picture or sound recording medium
*  right of promotion
*  unlimited right of reproduction beyond 1,000 copies** as per below:
The right of adaptation is not granted.

License fee: Available upon request

** In the event of commercial uses of the lyrics (CD sales and paid downloads over 1,000 copies, as well as paid use in commercials or film production), dalekiddlyrics.com is entitled to 10% of generated sales.

 

In the case of CD sales over 1,000 copies, shareable revenue is based on the total number of tracks on the CD. For example, if a CD has 10 tracks with 1 track containing lyrics purchased from dalekiddlyrics.com and you sell the CD for $10 net, you divide $10 by 10 tracks = $1 per track and for the one track with lyrics by dalekiddlyrics.com, 10% of $1 = $0.10 is paid to dalekiddlyrics.com.

 

In the case of all other commercial uses, your income from the respective download or the fee for use in the commercial / film follows the same 10% calculation as for CD sales and paid downloads.
